Community Standards
Rules & Conduct
These rules define the baseline for conduct, operations, attendance, and disciplinary action within United Security.
Overview
Clear structure. Clear expectations.
This page contains the current USEC ruleset for general conduct, in-game behaviour, attendance, and disciplinary action.
These rules are designed to protect the atmosphere, structure, and integrity of the USEC community. They apply across the community, its operations, and any associated systems or platforms.
Members are expected to understand these rules and act in line with them at all times. Leadership and the Board of Directors retain discretion when dealing with behaviour that harms the community or exploits loopholes in the rules.
This page is a structured website presentation of the current USEC ruleset. It covers the main behavioural, operational, attendance, and disciplinary standards that applicants and members are expected to understand before participating in the community.
General Rules
REF-001Harassment, stalking, bullying, excessively annoying behaviour, or doxxing of another member is not tolerated under any circumstances.
If any of the above takes place outside of the unit, the individual may face punishment starting from Tier E.
Harassment and bullying on our own platforms can be handled through lower tiers of the disciplinary action scale.
Stalking and doxxing are considered especially serious and have no place in this community.
Excessively annoying behaviour is defined as behaviour which continually annoys others and makes members of the unit unhappy to be here.
Doxxing is defined as the release of personal information without the prior consent of that same person.
Racist remarks, symbolism, or ideals are never permitted on any USEC platform.
Denial of genocide is strictly forbidden on all of our platforms.
Pornographic, obscene, or suggestive images, videos, or content are not permitted on our platforms. If you must share this type of content, keep it to Direct Messages.
The spreading of malware or malicious software through our platforms is strictly prohibited.
Poaching or any other unsavoury activities that would damage or negatively affect the unit, its members, or its reputation is not tolerated.
"Community Disrepute" may be used to describe behaviour that paints USEC in a bad light, brings constant arguments into the unit, or causes repeated issues without apparent reason despite warnings from the Board of Directors.
No member of United Security may be part of any hostile unit.
A hostile unit is defined as a unit that is actively targeting USEC and its integrity, including through poaching, DMCA threats, blackmail, or similar conduct.
Current hostile units
There are no current hostile units.
In-Game Rules
REF-002These rules apply 60 minutes before the start of any main operation, during the operation, and until its end. They also apply during mini-operations and training sessions.

To get a mod allowed and signed as a side-mod on the main server, you must use the #suggestions channel in Discord.
All members are expected to show respect and act in accordance with the semi-serious aim of the milsim.
Semi-serious is defined as acting in the way a reasonable person would, with tact, common sense, sensibility, and maturity.
Team killing is not tolerated in any way, shape, or form and will be punished if deemed necessary by the Board of Directors.
Orders from a senior rank are to be followed unless they conflict with unit rules.
If any member has grievances related to another member of United Security, they should contact their Squad Leader.
Excessive use of soundboards in operations is not allowed. Excessive use is defined as continuous use without reason within the context of the conversation.
Pre-operation misconduct is defined as trolling, childishness, or misbehaviour in the 60 minutes prior to briefing. This includes use of explosives, teamkilling, unnecessary yelling, running around, and not following orders.
Game ruining is defined as the deliberate destruction of objectives, storyline, or the experience of other players.

Staff discretion
Board members are trusted to make sound judgements. They have full discretion when dealing with rule breaks, loopholes, or issues that may fall under Community Disrepute. Actions may be appealed to the Board of Directors, where the decision will be reviewed by the full board. The issuer of the disciplinary action will not be permitted to vote.
Written Verbal Warning
